1. The ‘Approximate Invitation Pick-up Date’ as specified on the Purchase Order is dependant on prompt payments to Huetopia Design and timely delivery of text, information and approval by clients.
  2. A minimum of 2 weeks is required for production after mock up approval and receipt of guest’s names.
  3. Names for place cards, order of service and bonbonniere must be supplied a minimum of 20 days prior to the event date.
  4. 25% deposit of the total quoted price is required on placing an order. Final balance for all items to be paid before the commencement of production of invitations.  
  5. Any credits or debits due will be refunded or collected before final delivery of products, or if specified by Huetopia Design upon delivery.
  6. Payments can be made by credit card, eftpos, bank transfer or cheque. If paying by cheque, ordering of stocks and supplies will not commence until the cheque has cleared. Cheques for final payment must be cleared by the bank prior to collection.
  7. Any monies paid under an order shall not be returnable in the event of a cancellation by the customer and shall be retained by Huetopia Design to offset the costs and losses arising as a result of a cancellation.  Any costs incurred from action instigated to recover outstanding monies will be charged to the customer.
  8. Once a deposit has been placed, orders are not transferable.
  9. Once a purchase order deposit has been place cancellation of part of that order will incur a 25% cancellation fee for that portion of the order.
  10. Once an order is placed, layout of text and mock-up will be supplied for client approval. It is a condition of sale that Huetopia Design website details are to be listed at the back of all invitations.
  11. All mock-ups required for production must be returned to the studio. Production may not commence until mock-ups have been received. Huetopia Design will not be held responsible for any delays as a result of late of mock-up returns. Should you wish to retain an invitation as a keepsake then an additional invitation must be purchased. Production sometimes will commence due to tight scheduling.
  12. In the event of production commencing without mock-ups being returned by clients, Huetopia Design will not be held responsible for any variations in design. 
  13. A 25% surcharge will apply for orders under $500.
  14. Maximum mock-up refund is $75.00.
  15. Postage and handling is not refundable. 
  16. No alterations can be made once the client has approved the mock-up. Charges will apply.
  17. Clients will be required to approve in writing all spelling and formatting of all text, names and addresses supplied.  Huetopia Design does not take any responsibility for spelling or formatting errors.
  18. 50% surcharge will be incurred for any additional invitations or stationery required after production has commenced.
  19. Clients are required to follow exact format specified by Huetopia Design for personalisation of invitations and guest address labels.
  20. All original text is to be supplied to Huetopia Design via email. Supplements will be charged for any text that must be written up by Huetopia Design as follows: Invitation - $15.00, RSVP & Gift Registry - $15.00, Order of Service & Guest list template - $30.00 per hour. Corrections to formatted text and guest templates may then be sent by fax.
  21. Delivery charges are not included. Should items require delivery a postage & handling fee will apply. Final prices however will be determined on completion of the job and are dependent on dimensions, weight and location of where the package is to be sent.
  22. Courier/postage charges are applicable to each individual parcel. Number of parcels required for each job will be at the discretion of Huetopia Design. 
  23. Many components utilised in Huetopia Design’ products are exclusive designer items that are in limited supply.  Huetopia Design therefore reserves the right to replace any component with a similar alternative item should one become unavailable.
  24. Variations betweens items are characteristic of the hand-made nature of Huetopia Design products. Fabric invitations will display difference pattern variations and sash placement may differ on each invitation so that fabric design can be maximised.
  25. Due to the nature of some embroidered fabrics, bubbling can occur. 18. Huetopia Design accepts no responsibility for goods damaged as a result of neglect or poor storage including direct sunlight, dampness, heat, spillages and undue care during transportation.
  26. FORCE MAJEURE.  Huetopia Design shall not be liable to the customer or deemed to be in breach of contract by reason of any delay in performance, or failure to perform any of Huetopia Design obligations in relation to the goods, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond Huetopia Design’ control including without prejudice to the generality of the forgoing, difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, acts of God, war or threat of war, breakdown in machinery, strikes, lock-outs, other industrial action or trade disputes whether by Huetopia Design  employees or a third party.
  27. Receipt of deposit or signature signifies your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
  28. Extensive formatting changes will result in job delays. 
  29. FINAL edited text and guest lists should be emailed as to avoid delays. Should Huetopia need to completely refolow/reformat txt from scratch- a fee of $30 will be charged after the first lot of formatting. Up to 3 changes per item are only allowed after formatting has been emailed through. Changes will be charged at $15 per set thereafter.
  30. Final guest lists should be emailed on ONE (1) spreadsheet. The supply of several spreadsheets may result in missing labels which Huetopia Design cannot add on at a later stage. Missing postcodes are not the responsibility of Huetopia Design.
  31. Additions or changes to original guest lists are to be added to guest spreadsheet and highlighted in red. Huetopia Design will not be held responsible for errors resulting from information supplied in an alternative format.
  32. Courier deliveries are not Huetopias responsibility and are delivered at the clients risk. Goods may be delayed or damaged. We advise no confectionery should be couriered ever.
  33. All express postage is charged at $15.00 to the client.
  34. Method of postage is at the discretion of Huetopia Design. 
  35. Once a deposit has been placed quantities cannot be reduced by more than 15%.
  36. Huetopia Design will not be held responsible for errors resulting from incorrect orders being placed by the customer.
